Xbox Retail / Packaging
During my time at TGD I’ve had the opportunity to work on a huge amount of retail specific projects for a variety of games, accessories, product bundles, and more. This work has given me a ton of experience with both digital and print executions. The scope of tasks has ranged from highly creative campaign work to detail oriented production. I have also had the chance to work on a mix of creative and production packaging projects for Xbox. Having previous print experience helped me pick up on the workflow quickly and become confident in the process.
Product Detail Pages
One deliverable that I have become extremely comfortable with are PDP’s. These executions are designed for a variety of retailers with their various platforms in mind. Due to this, the layout and file setup has to be extremely user friendly. Shown here are a few example projects where I got to push boundaries and have some fun/creative freedom with the imagery, of course while following brand guidelines.
Digital Banners
Another type of asset I’ve become very comfortable designing are digital banners. Keeping the look consistent throughout all the different banner dimensions is important to the Xbox brand. As a result, I’ve learned a lot of great image manipulation techniques to achieve cohesive sets. A lot of the banner sets I’ve developed are production heavy with provided artwork, but I’ve had a chance to explore some more creative pieces as well. Shown here are a nice mix of these types of projects.
Visual Merchandising
Recently I’ve been incorporated into the print side of retail projects. I have been loving the world of in-store advertisements.
Packaging
Separate from the Xbox retail client, I’ve also become confident in the packaging space. I’ve done a variety of projects from standard controllers, special edition controllers, console bundle outer wraps, and more.
*A lot of the work I’ve done is yet to be released - I will update the site when I have permission… NDA contracts and all that (:
